Real Estate Development News
Southtown Square update.
Now that it is underway, the construction of Southtown Square is moving fast. We are inching closer to the point where eligible residents can apply to live in the spacious new affordable housing – but first we take a peek inside.
The nine-unit two-story townhouses will have a variety of housing options. The townhouses at 429 Umatilla will have a two bedroom, a three bedroom and a four-bedroom with 3.5 bathrooms. The space at 428 Woodlawn will hold two three bedroom units and have the same modern features. The spaces at 454 Umatilla and 537 Hall will each have 2 three-bedroom, 2.5 bath units.
Our real estate development team anticipates that units will be available for leasing as soon as November 1st of this year. The rents are affordable to households earning at or below 50 percent of the area median income – which is roughly $30,000 for a family of four. All of these units are environmentally friendly with full LEED certification, which will translate into lower monthly utility bills for all tenants.
Keep your eye on these addresses! The new units will be beautiful on the outside, and on the inside provide a healthy, happy space for a family to grow.
