Let's Talk Health Latino Michigan 2012 - Join the discussion!
It's time to talk health with the Latino community here in Grand Rapids. We are linking up with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan to learn about the issues and health concerns affecting you, directly from you. We want to hear from you about the priorities within the Latino community, your experiences, concerns and - most importantly - your ideas to address health disparities and improve our overall community health.
Lift your voice by participating in the "Let's Talk Health" community conversation. Join us for the first meeting coming up on August 8th to offer your valuable insight into the health issues that affect the Latino community. By coming out and supporting this initiative, you can guide Blue Cross Blue Shield and many other key partners to better serve your community.
Join us on August 8th from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Cesar Chavez Elementary School. Dinner will be served, child care will be provided and there will be free health screenings. Invite others in your community! Share and like this event on our Facebook page, or post fliers in your neighborhood. You can also access the Let's Talk Health Latino Michigan flier and the Let's Talk Health Latino Michigan flier in Spanish here on our website.
Contact us if you have questions or comments - you can always give us feedback on our website or call us at 616.451.9140. For additional information on the meeting you can also contact eMily Aleman-McAlpine of Blue Cross Blue Shield at 616.485.5423 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
