Rain barrels have been proven an effective and easy strategy for managing community storm water issues and improving water quality.  LINC is partnering with WMEAC - West Michigan Environmental Action Council to host a Rain Barrel Workshop Monday April 30th 2012 at 7:00pm in the LINC Development Center  (1167 Madison Avenue SE | Grand Rapids, MI). The cost is $25 which covers materials and kits provided by WMEAC through a partnership with the City of Grand Rapids and Coca-Cola, Inc.

The workshop will cover Rain Barrel Construction, installation and the impact your rain barrel will have in our community. Make sure you wear old clothes and have a way to transport your Rain Barrel home. Please RSVP by April 27 to save your spot by contacting Kari Bergman at 616.451.9140 or .
