LINC recently completed the major rehabilitation of 1428 Lafayette SE, a beautiful 3 bedroom, 1 bath home priced at $65,000. As part of the City's Neighborhood Stabilization Program (II), homebuyer assistance is available to eligible buyers for up to 20% of the purchase price available to write down the mortgage and assist with closing costs. Eligible buyers would need to qualify for a mortgage of at least $55,000 and monthly payment would be around $500 a month for mortage, taxes and insurance. In rental news…
LINC has apartments available at the Avenue Apartments (age 55+), Roosevelt Park Lofts and Uptown Village. For the month of March, if a current LINC tenant refers a qualifying applicant who signs a lease, they will receive $100 credit toward their rent. In addition, any non-resident who refers a qualified tenant who signs a lease with LINC will receive a $50 gift card. All of these properties have income guidelines according to household size.
